Africa is rising. Burkina Faso has just banned political parties. Why?

1. Political parties divide a nation. 

2. A nation having people in separate parties fight for power every 3-5 years. The focus moves to staying in power. 

3. Democracy is a failed experiment. The democratic system was designed to control people.  

WHAT MUST BE DONE UNDER THIS NEW LEADERSHIP.

1. A successor SYSTEM must be put in place to ensure the same mindset takes power. Ibrahim Traoré will not be there forever. 

2. A selection process should be done by men not given to money but to love of country and people. This committee of men would come from a cross-section of the people, and they would be trained in how the selection process works. To put an UNQUALIFIED population in charge of selecting political candidates will give power to good speakers, and the people will find themselves back in the same position that they came from. They will have great speakers with nothing to show but their own greed. 

3. Duration of leadership must be guided by PERFORMANCE. If the leader does well, the country does well. If the leader goes to crap, the system must be designed for a replacement. Very successful organizations have such a system. 

4. Transparency and accountability MUST BE the cornerstones of a new constitution.
