How Should we Study
You are a big man, and not a baby. I am an adult teacher. My job as a teacher is to guide and help you to understand the Word. Should you get stuck, it is my job to help you to understand, as Philip did with the eunuch.
Think on these questions as you read the text.
1. What was the eunuch doing when Philip found him?
2. Why would the eunuch be studying the Bible by himself?

What was the eunuch doing?
The eunuch was studying the word of God.
Was he studying with others? No.
Why was the eunuch studying by himself?
He wanted and had a relationship with God/Yeshua/Jesus/the King.
Why?
If you met a girl, and you loved her, would you not want to spend every moment of the day with her. Would you not STUDY about her on your own? Would you not try to find out what you need to do to please her and keep her pleased? This is what people do when they are in love.

If you truly love our King, let us study. If you do not truly love the King go your way and find the time for Him. Go pray and learn to love Him.
If you are true to Him and in love with Him (Keep His Commandments), I will be your teacher.
As your teacher, I would be like a coach. Studying the word will be like you lifting weighs to develop your body, but in this case it will be your mind in the understanding of God. When people lift weighs, the coach looks on just to make sure they are doing it right. When the eunuch was lifting his weighs (studying in the word), Philip came by just to give him guidance. I will be here to do the same, I am here to give you guidance. Feel free to ask me any question and I will do my best to answer.
How do we start, what is first?
By seeking His Kingdom and His righteousness. It is written.
Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
We must start by using the correct Bible. It will be the foundation we build on.
